Description
Beaphar FIPROtec® Spray is an effective and affordable veterinary strength medicine to control fleas, ticks and biting lice on kittens, puppies, cats and dogs. Containing fipronil, Beaphar FIPROtec® Spray kills ticks for up to one month on kittens and puppies, and kills adult fleas for up to two months on kittens and up to three months on puppies. Suitable for use on kittens and puppies from 2 days old. Recommended for treating cats and dogs weighing no more than 10kg due to the number of sprays required to treat animals weighing more than this. For continued protection reapply every four weeks. For cats and dogs weighing more than 10kg, Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On or Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO would be more suitable. Alongside treating your pet, don’t forget to protect your home from fleas with a suitable household flea spray, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray.
Instructions
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL BEFORE USE. Wear gloves when applying. Only use in a well-ventilated room. Weigh your cat or dog carefully, and consult the Beaphar FIPROtec® Spray dosage information before application. Apply 6–12 pumps per kg of body weight (3–6ml per kg). 1. Remove the protective cap, and hold the bottle 10–20cm away from your cat or dog at a 45° angle. 2. Spray the entire body of the animal avoiding eyes and mucous membranes. Apply against the lay of the hair, making sure that the whole coat is dampened. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Ruffle the coat to ensure the product makes contact with the skin. 3. For treatment of the head areas and when treating young or nervous pets, application may be carried out by spraying onto a gloved hand and rubbing the product onto the coat. 4. Allow the animal to dry naturally. Do not towel dry. Ensure treated animals are allowed to dry in a well-ventilated room. Do not confine animals to an enclosed space or pet carrier until the coat is fully dry. When treating young animals ensure they do not become cold while their coat dries. Once treated, keep animals away from fires and other sources of heat for a minimum of 30 minutes and until the coat is fully dry. Do not allow children to play with your pet until the coat is fully dry. For continuous protection, reapply every four weeks.
