Help cats feel safe and secure in their surroundings. The Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spray is a simple, effective and fast-acting solution to help reduce stress and anxiety in cats while travelling, and normal but unwanted behaviour around the home, such as furniture scratching and urine spraying. The Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spray is a cat pheromone spray that uses scientifically recognised pheromone technology, and contains a copy of the naturally produced Feline Facial Pheromone (FFP). FFP is used by cats to mark areas, objects and people as ‘safe’, and triggers an instinctive calming response. FFP is instantly recognisable to all cats, even if they were hand-reared. Cats may show signs of stress or anxiety for many different reasons. Some are obvious, such as anxiety due to travelling, loud noises like fireworks or vet visits, but others may be less obvious, such as changes in routine or at home, which can contribute to unwanted behaviour, such as furniture scratching or urine spraying. Long-term stress in cats can occasionally lead to clinical illness, so it’s important to try and reduce stress and anxiety wherever possible, and pheromone calming products are an easy way to achieve this. Once applied to an area or object, the spray works quickly, creating a calming effect around 15 minutes after application, that continues reassuring your cat for up to 5 hours. It is ideal to use inside cars, cat carriers and on blankets ahead of travelling or vet visits to help cats feel calmer. It can also be used on targeted areas around the home to help reduce normal but unwanted behaviour, such as scratching and urine spraying. Suitable for all breeds and ages of cat. For additional calming support, Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spray can be used in combination with other Beaphar calming products.

Instructions

ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Apply approximately 9 sprays per application, and wait 15 minutes before exposing the area to your cat. Before use, spray on an inconspicuous area to check for colour fastness. Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spray lasts up to five hours and can be reapplied as necessary. Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spray is suitable to be used in many situations, some of which include: • On blankets and inside cat carriers and/or the car 15 minutes before travelling to help cats feel less anxious during the journey • Targeted areas to help prevent urine marking, unwanted spraying, furniture scratching and other unwanted behaviour • On your cat’s bedding, new furniture and other objects to help them feel calm and reassured, and help prevent unwanted behaviour • On cat flaps to encourage use • On window ledges to help reduce general anxiety caused by neighbourhood cats When using in a cat carrier or other confined space, you must wait 15 minutes before placing your cat inside. Don't spray cat carriers while your cat is inside, and don't apply the spray directly onto your cat. Don’t use on scratching posts or mats as this may prevent your cat from using them.
