Description
Beaphar Insecticidal Bird Spray is a veterinary medicine specifically formulated to control common external parasites e.g. mites and lice on cage and aviary birds. This veterinary medicine uses permethrin to rapidly target and eliminate pests. Infestations of mites in bird cage environments can be severely distressing; the spray acts as a powerful bird lice treatment. One bottle provides treatment for up to 50 small birds, making it a highly economical choice for external parasite control in birds. Ideally suited for controlling mites and lice, the easy-to-use pump action allows you to apply the bird mite treatment directly to the bird without the stress of bathing. For the most successful results when treating bird mites, we recommend treating all birds in the aviary at the same time and treating the environment with a suitable insecticide to prevent re-infestation. Ensure your birds remain happy, healthy, and pest-free with this trusted solution against bird lice and mites.
Instructions
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Hold the bird firmly and spray for a few seconds from a distance of 25-30 cm. Start at the rear of the bird and work towards the head. For small birds, use 1-2 pumps; for large birds, use 3-5 pumps. Spray against the natural lay of the feathers. Spray the complete plumage (not parts of it). Do not spray directly on to the head or non-feathered parts. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, ears, mouth or anus. To treat the head, spray liquid on a towel or glove and rub it over the feathers. All birds sharing a cage or aviary should be treated at the same time. Ensure good ventilation during and after the treatment. Repeat if necessary after 14 days. It is advisable to wear protective gloves when using this product. After treatment remove bath water as Bird Spray is active for up to two weeks provided the birds do not bathe. Diseased birds should only be treated in consultation with your veterinary surgeon. Do not treat birds with hatched young, birds younger than three months or birds with serious skin disorders.
