A blend of soluble and insoluble grit in the form of fine, specially selected gravel, purified charcoal and oyster shell formulated to support your bird’s digestive and overall health, Beaphar Cana Grit is a complementary mineral feed. Good quality grit is an essential part of your bird's diet and must be fed alongside a suitable and complete nutritional diet. The fine gravel is classed as insoluble grit, and this is essential for birds to maintain optimum digestion. The fine gravel stays in the gizzard to act as 'teeth', helping to grind down food. The oyster shell is classed as soluble grit. Once ingested, this supports the grinding action of food, and then gradually dissolves to provide a valuable source of calcium and minerals for your bird, which supports the production of healthy eggshells and strong bone development. Suitable for all aviary, cage and tropical birds.

Replenish the grit as necessary. Always have fresh drinking water available.
