No Artificial Colours - A Great Success Story!
Beaphar is proud to have a comprehensive range of foods and treats of complete extruded diets, freeze-dried specialities, tasty 'wet' treats and food and fluids for feeder insects. The range meets the nutritional recommendations for all species and has been extensively trialed for palatability.
The extruded foods are greenish in colour. All of the artificial colours have been removed. One super case study using the new improved foods concerns iguanas at the Institute for Education for pet shop owners and zoo assistants in Holland. They have kept iguanas for 30 years, but have never had any breeding success. Since switching onto the new formulation Beaphar Iguana Food, the 2 females have produced 70 fertilized eggs! We now have to wait 8 weeks to see if they all hatch.......
